For the first time ever, the Dragon Ball Z season sets are available on Blu-ray! This epic collection presents the first thirty-nine episodes of the legendary series in remastered, high definition quality and 16:9 aspect ratio using frame by frame, pan and scan technology. Recently Funimation and Toei Animation announced that the English dub for is currently in production. Although the latest Dragon Ball series made its debut in Japan last year and is the first new storyline from original creator Akira Toriyama in more than 18 years, it is only now that the series is receiving English dubs for North American audiences. Funimation has begun simulcasting the latest episodes of Dragon Ball Super and has added subtitled episodes of the series to its FunimationNow streaming library. Additionally, Funimation will be handling home video distribution of the series for the United States and Canada.
