According to the System Hardware manager, the adapter and drivers are working correctly, but. Every time I boot into Win XP it spends a lot of time stuck on trying to acquire an IP address.
If i do nothing. It will stay stuck but I have found that just removing the adapter and putting it back in the same USB slot causes it to connect OK. I am at a loss to understand what's going on. It is clearly more an inconvenience than a critical event.
